GET INVOLVED

Events & Volunteering

Volunteering at your child’s school provides support the school needs, as well as the opportunity for you to participate in the Longfellow community. There are volunteer opportunities to match everyone’s interests, talents, and schedule!

The PTA always needs help at events, such as the Welcome Fair, Pancake Breakfast, 8th Grade Dinner Dance, for set up, clean up, decorating, chaperoning, and staffing events.

There are many other volunteer roles parents can play at Longfellow, from being a chair of an event, serving on a committee, or helping out for a few hours during the school year. Below is a partial list. If you see a role or activity you'd like to be a part of or have questions about, please contact  the PTA at longfellow.pta.busd@gmail.com  for more information.
